What is an ESA?
An Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) is an account created and managed by the Arizona Department of Education. Residents of Arizona are the only ones eligible for this program. This program is funded by Arizona tax dollars. Families who choose to take part in the Empowerment Scholarship Account are agreeing to provide their child(ren) with an education that includes at a minimum instruction in the following subjects: Reading, grammar, mathematics, social studies, and science. ESA funding can also be used to pay private school tuition but a student utilizing an ESA account cannot be enrolled in public schools.

You can find application forms here as well as the Parent Handbook.
How do I purchase products from Unlock Math?
Once your child is approved in the ESA Program, you can login to the ClassWallet portal here. Because Unlock Math is an approved vendor, you have three options for purchasing our program for your child.
- Purchase directly from our website and submit your receipt to ClassWallet for reimbursement. This will require you to pay out of pocket prior to your reimbursement.
- Purchase using DirectPay on Class Wallet. In order to use DirectPay, you will follow these directions to process your purchase as DirectPay. This will keep you from having to initially spend any money out our pocket prior to reimbursement.
